This small rotary stage has a coarse adjustment of 306° and a fine adjustment of 5°. When the side mounted locking knob is disengaged, the stage top is free to rotate 360°. When this is locked,the micrometer then controls rotation over +/- 2.5° The micrometer spindle is apring loaded to eliminate backlash
